Summer Programs

Summer Intersession Update


All teachers have sent emails to the parents/students in regard to summer school. Please check your email, students k-12 email, and Google Classroom for information from the teacher. If you have not received any communication, please email Andrew Walton, awalton@ahisd.net



Credit Recovery Students 

Credit recovery classes will be held on campus for summer school. 

We will be following all of the TEA regulations to ensure the safety of every staff and student attending our face-to-face credit recovery sessions.  


Entering Building

Students must enter the building through the outside library doors. There will be social distancing place markers on the ground. Per Covid-19 guidelines, students must complete a health self-report assessment that is collected on Mondays. Upon entering the building each Monday, the nurse will ask the students to complete the google form as well as take students’ temperature on a daily basis.

Summer acceleration registration is closed as of Monday, June 22, 2020, at 4:15pm. Credit recovery will still be available for students to register. 


Summer School dates will be July 6th- July 31st

  • Session I will be from July 6th – July 17th
  • Session II will be July 20th – July 31st

Please Note: Out of district students and students not enrolled in AHISD schools cannot pay online at this time. They will need to pay in the AHHS Guidance Office with cash or check only. Checks should be made out to AHISD.


Students not enrolled in AHISD schools must have an emergency card filled out: Emergency Card (pdf)
