Senior Information

Seniors 2022:

  • October 19: Balfour will be on campus to distribute Class Ring Information Packets in the main hall during the lunch periods.
  • October 26: Balfour will be on campus to pick up Class Ring orders in the main hall during the lunch periods.
  • October 26 - 27: Senior Pictures are Oct. 26-27 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on the auditorium stage. You must sign up for a time outside Room 203 Main and it is your responsibility to go to the auditorium. Seniors not photographed by Oct. 27 will NOT be included in the yearbook.
  • January 10: Balfour is ready to take your graduation cap & gown and graduation gear orders! You can order online here.
  • April 22: Graduation Slideshow Pictures. Email up to (3) pictures to [email protected] We are looking for "fun " pictures from any age - they can be current photos or from the past but your child should be recognizable in the photo. Group photos are great as long as everyone in the picture can be identified. Please do not send selfies, photos with filters, or copyrighted images. 
  • April 23: Junior/Senior Prom at The Espee, 1174 E. Commerce Street, 7:30-10:30 pm. Purchase your tickets online at the PTSO Mule Store for $40 or at the door for $50.
  • April 26: Senior Class Panoramic Picture takes place in front of the school. Students should arrive promptly at 8 am to participate. The photo will be taken promptly at 8:15 am. Any students arriving after this time will not be in the photo.
  • May 2: Scholarship information must be turned in to the College Center by 4:15 pm in order to be included in the printed graduation program.
  • May 17: Senior Exams begin - Please review the senior exam schedule and exam exemption guidelines.
  • May 18: Senior Send-off 4 - 5 pm. If you attended Cambridge or Woodridge, the teachers invite all graduating seniors to come back to their "home" campus and visit one last time.
  • May 20: Senior Awards Ceremony at 6 pm in the AHHS Auditorium. Seniors being recognized will receive a letter of invitation to this event.
  • May 22: Baccalaureate honoring the senior class will be held at 4 pm at Alamo Heights United Methodist Church with a reception to follow. This service is non-denominational and not affiliated with the school district. Graduating seniors should plan to arrive at 3:30 pm. Graduate attire: Traditional church or worship attire. The Baccalaureate Committee would love for you to serve as a host family through your financial support which makes this beautiful service a reality (Contribution Form).
  • May 23: Senior Exit Day - Seniors will report to campus for breakfast, cap & gown distribution, and clearing of all obligations. 
    • Senior breakfast sponsored by PTSO will be served at 9:00 am in the Oaks.
    • Cap and gown distribution will take place in the gym from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
    • Seniors must have all obligations cleared (chromebooks/chargers, textbooks, library books returned; late or lost book fees paid; transcript fees paid, etc.) in order to receive their cap and gown.
  • May 24: Senior Day Trip to Fiesta Texas - tickets for this trip may be purchased through the PTSO Mule Store until Friday, March 25, 2022.
  • May 25: Graduation Rehearsal at the Real Life Amphitheatre (16765 Lookout Rd., Selma, TX 78154). Graduates must be in their assigned seats by 9:30am. All graduates must be present in order to participate in the graduation ceremony the following evening. If you have an extenuating circumstance, please contact the Principal’s Office at 210-832-5720.
  • May 26: Graduation Ceremony at the Real Life Amphitheatre at 6:30 pm. Graduates will be admitted into the Real Life Amphitheater by wearing their cap and gown. Seniors must be in the designated staging area by 5:45 PM in their cap and gown.  At the graduation ceremony, seniors will receive an envelope; however, their official diplomas will be given to them immediately following the ceremony. Before graduates are released to their families, we will distribute diplomas. Diplomas not picked up after the graduation ceremony will be available for pick-up in the high school’s Front Office during regular school hours.
  • May 26: Project Graduation - Students leave from the school right after graduation to go to a location for food, fun, games, and fellowship. This is an alcohol-free, drug-free, safe event - intended to provide the Seniors a safe place to celebrate their graduation with their fellow graduates. Students are required to ride the bus TO and FROM Project Graduation. No students may drive to the location on their own, be dropped off, or be picked up early - for safety reasons. Buses will begin loading at AHHS at 9:30 PM and will depart at 10:00 PM. Tickets for this event may be purchased online at the PTSO Mule Store.
