The time and location for the Alamo Heights High School Class of 2026 graduation ceremony has changed due to forecasted inclement weather later this week.
The graduation ceremony will now start at 6 p.m., Thursday, May 21, and the new location is Freeman Coliseum, 3201 E. Houston Street, San Antonio, TX 78219.
“While we had hoped to celebrate graduation outdoors, we have made the decision to move the ceremony indoors to the Freeman Coliseum to ensure the safety and comfort of our graduates, families, and guests,” says Principal Cory Smith. “We are grateful for the flexibility of our staff and families as we work together to make this milestone a meaningful and memorable celebration for our graduates.”
Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. Students should arrive for the ceremony by 5 p.m.
No tickets are needed for the venue and seating is first come, first served.
Parking for students is free. Parking for all other cars is $15 per car, cash or credit cards accepted.
Seniors and parents of seniors received additional logistical details in an email from Principal Smith.
The ceremony will also be livestreamed.
Come celebrate the Class of 2026 as they cross the stage and receive their diplomas.
