NAVIANCE FAMILY CONNECTION
Naviance
Family Connection – a comprehensive website that you can use to plan
for college and a career. Family Connection is linked with Naviance, a
service that we use in our office to track and analyze data about
college and career plans, so it provides up-to-date information that is
specific to AHHS.
Family Connection allows you to:
- Get
involved in the planning and advising process – Build a resume,
complete online surveys, and manage timelines and deadlines for making
decisions about colleges and careers
- Research
colleges – Compare GPA, standardized test scores, and other statistics
to actual historical data from our school for students who have applied
and been admitted in the past
- Research careers – Research hundreds of careers and career clusters, and take career assessments
- Create
plans for the future – Create goals and to-dos, and complete tasks
assigned to you by the school to better prepare yourself for your future
college and career goals
- Family
Connection also lets us share information with you about upcoming
meetings and events, local scholarship opportunities, and other
resources for college and career information. You can also use the site
to stay in communication with the counseling office.

When you enroll at AHHS we will create your Naviance Account and email your login and temporary password to your school email.

AHHS STAFF LOG-IN INFORMATION
AHHS Faculty and staff are able to login by:
- Clicking here (just remember to remove my username): Naviance Succeed Staff Sign-In
- Under Account enter: ahhs
- Username: enter your username for email (i.e. pharris without the @ahisd.net)
- Password: utilize the temporary password sent to you through email.
- Once you enter the site you will be asked to change your password.
- Be sure to save Naviance on your desktop for easy access.
- Any problems, contact Paul Harris, College Counselor, to setup an account.
The
Alamo Heights College Center, Counseling and Guidance departments are
pleased to introduce the Naviance College Family Connection program that
will help you in your career and college search. This is a Web-based
tool that provides students and parents up-to-date information on
college, career planning, and reporting for our school district.
Naviance College Family Connection will allow students and parents to:
- Get involved in the college planning and advising process - Build a resume, complete on-line surveys, and manage timelines and

- Research colleges - Compare GPA, SAT scores, and other statistics to actual historical
data from our school for students who have applied and been admitted in
the past. (current historical data is not available and all student
information is private)
- Sign up for college visits - Find out which colleges are visiting our school and sign up to attend those sessions
Naviance
College Family Connection is also a great tool for our school community
to be informed about up-coming events and programs for the college
admission process, scholarships, and Web resources. We hope you find
this program to be helpful as you begin your high school career or your
college search.
